FC Real Madrid's attentive Zlatko Kaloyanov managed to snatch the ball when Nedelcho Tahov made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. After 21 minutes, Grisha Raynov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aramazov Plovdiv and the FC Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Real Madrid booed when Aramazov Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grisha Raynov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Tzvyatko Karadashki fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aramazov Plovdiv's protests and gave Tzvyatko Karadashki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aramazov Plovdiv getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tzvyatko Karadashki hit a great ball. Zlatko Kaloyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitan Balachev having to interfere. FC Real Madrid walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
