Covangilar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Yobchovtsi the free kick. A collision led to Covangilar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. The referee showed Vencho Shekerov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Covangilar's Vencho Shekerov got a free kick in the 5th minute. Covangilar's Miro Mesalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Covangilar from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Covangilar's Vitko Levkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Barbukov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mirolyub Boydev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Miro Mesalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Covangilar's Vitko Levkov got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, CSKA Yobchovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Samuil Mominov came free, but Albert Barbukov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Svetlin Sagaev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miro Mesalski. The goal made the score 1-1. Mirolyub Boydev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miro Mesalski having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Vencho Shekerov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CSKA Yobchovtsi's Antim Slaveykov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Covangilar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mirolyub Boydev got free with Miro Mesalski in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuil Mominov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Barbukov having to interfere. Covangilar's Samuil Mominov got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitko Levkov to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Samuil Mominov from a close distance when the talented Albert Barbukov managed to make a qualified save. CSKA Yobchovtsi's players were relieved. Samuil Mominov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Albert Barbukov 53 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, CSKA Yobchovtsi's Svetlin Sagaev made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miro Mesalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Barbukov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitko Levkov's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Svetlin Sagaev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Yobchovtsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetlin Sagaev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Mirolyub Boydev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Mesalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Covangilar's goal looked a bit too open when Svetlin Sagaev came free, but Miro Mesalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirolyub Boydev in the 78th minute of play forced Covangilar's goalkeeper Miro Mesalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Samuil Mominov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetlin Sagaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miro Mesalski having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, CSKA Yobchovtsi's Mirolyub Boydev made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CSKA Yobchovtsi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Covangilar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
