Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5020, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 1) Covangilar's Vitko Levkov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miro Kalpakchiev hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Covangilar's Krastyo Machkanov threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitko Levkov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miro Mesalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miro Kalpakchiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Miro Kalpakchiev made a precise shot to the right of Miro Mesalski. Covangilar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vencho Shekerov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krastyo Machkanov having to make a save. Krastyo Machkanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitko Levkov in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Miro Kalpakchiev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miro Mesalski was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 30thth minute of the game Kamen Pitekov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Covangilar's Miro Mesalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miro Mesalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miro Kalpakchiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Covangilar's Miro Mesalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miro Kalpakchiev in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, FC Zmejovo's Miro Kalpakchiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miro Mesalski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Miro Kalpakchiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Mesalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kamen Pitekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Covangilar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Zmejovo were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miro Kalpakchiev to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Miro Kalpakchiev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miro Mesalski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kamen Pitekov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zmejovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamen Pitekov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miro Mesalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miro Kalpakchiev in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miro Mesalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Dencho Grúncharov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Samuil Mominov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covangilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuil Mominov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vencho Shekerov in the 64th minute of play forced FC Zmejovo's goalkeeper Krastyo Machkanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krastyo Machkanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuil Mominov in the 66th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Covangilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vencho Shekerov to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, FC Zmejovo's Marko Rapondzhiev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miro Mesalski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Zmejovo reached it.
