Omurtag Sakúzov kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rangel Matrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Georgi Dzhabarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kostadin Tzarvulkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rangel Matrov to make the kick off. Venko Benov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Kadurshik's Rangel Matrov got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georgi Dzhabarov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rangel Matrov's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. ФК Велбъжд 1919 кн's Georgi Dzhabarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rangel Matrov in the 62nd minute of play. Iliyan Mitzilkov's late challenge caught a FC Kadurshik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iliyan Mitzilkov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Kadurshik booed when ФК Велбъжд 1919 кн was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iliyan Mitzilkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, ФК Велбъжд 1919 кн's goal looked a bit too open when Rangel Matrov came free, but Georgi Dzhabarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kadurshik's zone, Venko Benov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bozhin Hinov came out of the goal and Venko Benov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bozhin Hinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Benov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes, Yordan Kokinov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kadurshik and the ФК Велбъжд 1919 кн players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venko Benov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bozhin Hinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oleg Selishki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bozhin Hinov having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Huben Chovalinov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kadurshik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК Велбъжд 1919 кн the free kick. In the 90th minute, Venko Benov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
