The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Boris Zyapkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Anko Piyanechki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gospodin Gogev was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Boca Juniors's Omurtag Buyukliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasko Bogoev in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Mladen Fuskov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gospodin Gogev. Kote's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mladen Fuskov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Anko Piyanechki made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gospodin Gogev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boca Juniors's Omurtag Buyukliyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. If Mladen Fuskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Anko Piyanechki put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gospodin Gogev. Anko Piyanechki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gospodin Gogev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mladen Fuskov came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mladen Fuskov couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Andon Matikanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omurtag Buyukliyski came out of the goal and Andon Matikanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anko Piyanechki came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anko Piyanechki couldn't finish the play. The Kote players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boca Juniors were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anko Piyanechki was the one to do the kick off. If Pavel Dikovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anko Piyanechki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Gospodin Gogev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Omurtag Buyukliyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Dikovski in the 72nd minute of the match. Gospodin Gogev was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Mladen Fuskov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mladen Fuskov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 83 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Anko Piyanechki made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 88th minute, Anko Piyanechki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kote's Gospodin Gogev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mladen Fuskov in the 94th minute of play. Anko Piyanechki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Gospodin Gogev made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Bogomil Kandev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kote's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogomil Kandev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omurtag Buyukliyski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Boca Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kote throughout the match.
