After some careless play in the Sokoliza defense, Iskren Aladzhov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tzeno Dzhadzhev. The Sokoliza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tzeno Dzhadzhev should have stopped the shot. Rashko Rúsins short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Vladislav Mominov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iskren Aladzhov made a kick off. Kristiyan Krantov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
