Radan Chernokozhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borislav Karpuzov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radan Chernokozhev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyuben Chervenkov in the 4th minute of play. Radan Chernokozhev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyuben Chervenkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes CSKA Murtazovska got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Dzhambov. A collision led to THE HAWKS Football Club getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rusi Pirgov hit a great ball. Lyuben Chervenkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Radan Chernokozhev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rashko Zanev hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Rusi Pirgov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radan Chernokozhev skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, CSKA Murtazovska's Vasil Ilinov threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stoyko Redzhov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Borislav Karpuzov took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radan Chernokozhev. Radan Chernokozhev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Yanislav Smilevski fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE HAWKS Football Club's protests and gave Yanislav Smilevski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CSKA Murtazovska booed when THE HAWKS Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanislav Smilevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stoyko Redzhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stoyko Redzhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasil Ilinov having to interfere. The supporters of THE HAWKS Football Club booed when CSKA Murtazovska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dancho Pechov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stoyko Redzhov was the one to do the kick off. The THE HAWKS Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when THE HAWKS Football Club's Lyuben Chervenkov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 67 minutes into the game, Geno Filev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THE HAWKS Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Murtazovska the free kick. Geno Filev kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lyuben Chervenkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radan Chernokozhev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Oleg Dzhambov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vasil Ilinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stoyko Redzhov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, CSKA Murtazovska's Oleg Dzhambov got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Lyuben Chervenkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched THE HAWKS Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
