The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yoto Hantov kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Fotyo Traykov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jocelyn Cronier made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Stoil Gerasimov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Пари Сен Жермен and the Botiowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Neno Branski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhin Ruzhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stoil Gerasimov got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 29th match minute, Пари Сен Жермен was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stoil Gerasimov to maneuver through the defense. Neno Branski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Branislav Gudzhev's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Branislav Gudzhev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Neno Branski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neno Branski came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Botiowo's Bozhin Ruzhin. But to his dismay, Bozhin Ruzhin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 49 minutes into the match, Пари Сен Жермен's goal looked a bit too open when Arso Ilev came free, but Neno Branski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fotyo Traykov was the one to do the kick off. Fotyo Traykov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th match minute, Botiowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gancho Shulekov to maneuver through the defense. Neno Branski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhin Ruzhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jocelyn Cronier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotyo Traykov, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Bozhin Ruzhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Neno Branski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arso Ilev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Neno Branski came out and tried to block the shot, but Arso Ilev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 68th minute. The goalkeeper, Neno Branski, was totally fooled by Botiowo's Bozhin Ruzhin, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bozhin Ruzhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Neno Branski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botiowo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
