In the 13th minute, Vancho Kavrúkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jocelyn Cronier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vancho Kavrúkov went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 18 played minutes FC Bankowzi got a freekick which was hit by Vancho Kavrúkov. Todor Sadovski hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bozhin Ruzhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anani Dragunchev having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arso Ilev got free with Anani Dragunchev in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arso Ilev struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Anani Dragunchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botiowo. Branislav Gudzhev in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anani Dragunchev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 46 minutes, Evgeni Sivkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bankowzi and the Botiowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Evgeni Sivkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FC Bankowzi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Branislav Gudzhev was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Mladen Kyuvliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bankowzi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mladen Kyuvliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Gancho Shulekov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anani Dragunchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of FC Bankowzi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Botiowo:s goal. Ferdinant de Bruin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Bozhin Ruzhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anani Kazashki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Arso Ilev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botiowo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branislav Gudzhev in the 84th minute of play forced FC Bankowzi's goalkeeper Anani Dragunchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arso Ilev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, one of FC Bankowzi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Bozhin Ruzhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arso Ilev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Botiowo were the better team. Botiowo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
