The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alek Lilkov took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venelin Serdev. Venelin Serdev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the last second Roman Variyski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hristiyan Kozarov in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Levski London's Venelin Serdev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Eudoxio in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Teofan Nashkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hristiyan Kozarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luis Eudoxio sped through Levski London's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Venelin Serdev. The supporters of Levski London booed when ФК Български сокол 1918 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alek Lilkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Levski London's Lyubomir Duhalov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roman Variyski but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Eudoxio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venelin Serdev saved Levski London from getting behind. If Luis Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Alek Lilkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Български сокол 1918's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alek Lilkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Luis Eudoxio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venelin Serdev was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Luis Eudoxio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Levski London's Venelin Serdev. Venelin Serdev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Variyski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Svetoslav Seferinov. Hristiyan Kozarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Variyski having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Eudoxio was the one to do the kick off. When ФК Български сокол 1918's Luis Eudoxio in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Levski London's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Levski London's Fotyo Ninchev got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Damyan Kapurdov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Venelin Serdev. The goal made the score 0-4. Venelin Serdev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alek Lilkov charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alek Lilkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hristiyan Kozarov took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Variyski. Roman Variyski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Luis Eudoxio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Venelin Serdev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dimcho Túrnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A well placed Luis Eudoxio short distance shot in the 81st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Luis Eudoxio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Variyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristiyan Kozarov in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute Luis Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venelin Serdev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ФК Български сокол 1918's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
