Svetoslav Mangov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Geno Yurukov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Zhecho Zahariev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarnubeykioy's Paun Berkovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zhecho Zahariev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Ivaylo Proynov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarnubeykioy and the CSKA Borissowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The attack was good, but when Zhecho Zahariev in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Damyan Ahchiev fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarnubeykioy's protests and gave Damyan Ahchiev a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Sarnubeykioy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CSKA Borissowo:s goal. The Sarnubeykioy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CSKA Borissowo were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zhecho Zahariev to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivaylo Proynov in the 53rd minute of play forced CSKA Borissowo's goalkeeper Geno Yurukov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Alexi Pedev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Grozdan Lenov could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Paun Berkovski however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Svetoslav Mangov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarnubeykioy's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetoslav Mangov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geno Yurukov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhecho Zahariev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Grozdan Lenov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 83rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Paun Berkovski would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 0-2 became the score in the 85th minute when Grozdan Lenov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Zhecho Zahariev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paun Berkovski. Zhecho Zahariev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 96 minutes, Ivaylo Proynov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarnubeykioy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivaylo Proynov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CSKA Borissowo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSKA Borissowo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
