In the 5th minute Velin Kopanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancho Kaldarúmov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ventzislav Gúdev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todor Banev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CSKA Drent getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Matey Nedanov hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karamfil Ranov in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pancho Kaldarúmov saved FC 13 from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC 13 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for CSKA Drent. Krasimir Karaatanasov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pancho Kaldarúmov. 0-1. If Karamfil Ranov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Velin Kopanov fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Drent's protests and gave Velin Kopanov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC 13 booed when CSKA Drent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velin Kopanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Presiyan Peevski in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ventzislav Gúdev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chavdar Berov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Presiyan Peevski struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ventzislav Gúdev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC 13. Gancho Krantov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Presiyan Peevski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grisha Peevski kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Presiyan Peevski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ventzislav Gúdev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC 13. 55 minutes into the match, CSKA Drent's goal looked a bit too open when Presiyan Peevski came free, but Ventzislav Gúdev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matey Nedanov's late challenge caught a FC 13's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matey Nedanov helped the player get up and apologised. Ventzislav Gúdev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presiyan Peevski in the 59th minute of the match. Pancho Kaldarúmov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karamfil Ranov in the 61st minute. A collision led to FC 13 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Todor Banev hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Velin Kopanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ventzislav Gúdev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Todorov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ventzislav Gúdev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presiyan Peevski in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Presiyan Peevski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuli Nyagolov charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuli Nyagolov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC 13's Angel Vladkov was substituted for Gospodin Vankov. The supporters of FC 13 booed when CSKA Drent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuli Nyagolov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ventzislav Gúdev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Presiyan Peevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Drent's zone, Presiyan Peevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ventzislav Gúdev came out of the goal and Presiyan Peevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ventzislav Gúdev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Presiyan Peevski in the 90th minute of play. When Angel Vladkov came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC 13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Vladkov couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Presiyan Peevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ventzislav Gúdev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC 13 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
