Yosif Kalenov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tenyo Zhekov, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Нотингам booed when CSKA Rajkowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Delibozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CSKA Rajkowo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 11 played minutes CSKA Rajkowo got a freekick which was hit by Minko Rashkovski. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Нотингам's goalkeeper Roman Antimov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of CSKA Rajkowo booed when Нотингам was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tinko Sariyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maksim Bosolov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roman Antimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maksim Bosolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Antimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastas Profirov in the 37th minute of play. Roman Antimov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastas Profirov went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes Нотингам's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ilcho Gerdzhikov who took care of the corner kick. If Maksim Bosolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tenyo Zhekov was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastas Profirov got free with Roman Antimov in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Kamen Achakanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamen Achakanov in the 81st minute of play forced CSKA Rajkowo's goalkeeper Yosif Kalenov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maksim Bosolov came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the CSKA Rajkowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksim Bosolov couldn't finish the play. Tenyo Zhekov took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yosif Kalenov. Yosif Kalenov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 95th minute of the match Rayko Vúrgolomov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yosif Kalenov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Нотингам supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CSKA Rajkowo's performance. The match ended with a win for CSKA Rajkowo.
