Atanas Datzev hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ingars Batarags had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Argir Bidzhov. A.S. ROMA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingars Batarags was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 30th minute, A.S. ROMA's Gruyo Kondarev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genadi Tetevenski. Genadi Tetevenski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Argir Bidzhov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingars Batarags in the 36th minute of the match. Argir Bidzhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomislav Ashkanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of A.S. ROMA booed when BALZENA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Prodanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingars Batarags might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Argir Bidzhov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingars Batarags ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomislav Ashkanov in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Argir Bidzhov saved A.S. ROMA from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Tomislav Ashkanov put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Argir Bidzhov. Argir Bidzhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arhangel Savelev, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Argir Bidzhov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomislav Ashkanov went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. A.S. ROMA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Tomislav Ashkanov scored to the left of an out of position Argir Bidzhov, making the score, 1-6. Gruyo Kondarev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genadi Tetevenski having to make a save. Gruyo Kondarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingars Batarags in the 80th minute of play forced A.S. ROMA's goalkeeper Argir Bidzhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
