When Dimcho Tzilev came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the CSKA Pliskov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimcho Tzilev couldn't finish the play. Kiril Kiritzov made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Zhecho Sotirov sent off a good shot on target. Galin Hikov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Penko Bonov in the 79th minute of play. Haralampi Yotovski struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Kiril Kiritzov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Pliskov. If Zhecho Sotirov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galin Hikov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, CSKA Pliskov failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
