Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 11 played minutes, when FC ЦСКА дубъл:s Vesko Pútnikov calmly waited for Bologna F.C. 1909:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rusi Shirkov to make the kick off. Trayan Sertov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Miho Denchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bologna F.C. 1909's Miho Denchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusi Shirkov in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes FC ЦСКА дубъл got a freekick which was hit by Trayan Sertov. 60 minutes into the match, Bologna F.C. 1909's goal looked a bit too open when Trayan Sertov came free, but Miho Denchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Búchvarov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Vasko Beshovishki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75thth minute of the game Rusi Shirkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bologna F.C. 1909's Miho Denchev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rusi Shirkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bologna F.C. 1909's Miho Denchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusi Shirkov in the 83rd minute of play. Miho Denchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trayan Sertov in the 93rd minute of play. When Trayan Sertov came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC ЦСКА дубъл fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trayan Sertov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Shishmanov in the 97th minute of play forced FC ЦСКА дубъл's goalkeeper Vasko Beshovishki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bologna F.C. 1909 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC ЦСКА дубъл from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
