The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CSKA Pestera's Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elenko Mortev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Radoslav Gudev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosen Dragov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, CSKA Pestera's goal looked a bit too open when Huben Karakushev came free, but Rosen Dragov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oleg Glavanakov during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stanyo Sardarev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Teofan Karamitev. In the 46th match minute, CSKA Pestera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petko Kabakov to maneuver through the defense. In the 47thth minute of the game Radoslav Gudev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Pestera's Rosen Dragov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Elenko Mortev made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Stanyo Sardarev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Stanyo Sardarev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanyo Sardarev having to interfere. Galin Kabatliev's late challenge caught a CSKA Pestera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Galin Kabatliev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Changarliy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galin Kabatliev to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Elenko Mortev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev in the 77th minute of play forced Changarliy's goalkeeper Stanyo Sardarev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev scored 3-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanyo Sardarev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Bayan Kiradzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanyo Sardarev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyubomir Hadzhigeorgiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Huben Karakushev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Changarliy's supporters rose to their feet, but Huben Karakushev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosen Dragov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the CSKA Pestera players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
