Delyan Frangov got in the 9th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Yuri Nikovski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC dorostol-silistra's goalkeeper Yuri Nikovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Predoev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yuri Nikovski. FC dorostol-silistra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Goryani's Delyan Frangov got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes FC dorostol-silistra got a freekick which was hit by Miro Mitushev. Delyan Frangov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee gave Goryani a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stamen Trenkov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC dorostol-silistra's Yuri Nikovski. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladislav Kitin got free with Yuri Nikovski in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delyan Frangov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nikovski having to interfere. Tzvetan Harabaliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Goryani's Delyan Frangov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 91st minute Delyan Frangov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Nikovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vladislav Kitin came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Goryani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladislav Kitin couldn't finish the play.
