Apostol Velikov started the match with the kick off. Svilen Krusharski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostol Velikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Antoni Boynovski charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Boynovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adalbert Denin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Chakúrov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosen Chasovnikarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13thth minute of the game Nacho Raychinov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rila's Adrian Chakúrov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nacho Raychinov came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Shadows fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nacho Raychinov couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slavey Palukov during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes FC Rila got a freekick which was hit by Slavey Palukov. FC Shadows's Arso Pindzhurov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Rila. 20 minutes into the game, Rosen Chasovnikarov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adrian Chakúrov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Apostol Velikov kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. FC Rila's Vaklin Simov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Svilen Krusharski but with some difficulty. 48 minutes into the match, Nacho Raychinov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Chakúrov. FC Rila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacho Raychinov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nacho Raychinov to make the kick off. Rosen Chasovnikarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Chakúrov having to interfere. Adrian Chakúrov was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Nacho Raychinov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nacho Raychinov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With a little luck, FC Rila's Adrian Chakúrov got control of the ball when Rosen Chasovnikarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Chakúrov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Raychinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Parvan Hadzhiyankov scored 1-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svilen Krusharski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Shadows's Rosen Chasovnikarov got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosen Chasovnikarov got free with Adrian Chakúrov in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Stanimir Yazadzhiev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrian Chakúrov. Stanimir Yazadzhiev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. 92 minutes into the match, FC Shadows's Nacho Raychinov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Chakúrov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Rosen Chasovnikarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded FC Shadows left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Rila.
