The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rostislav Dragoshinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peycho Súrnev having to interfere. If Rostislav Dragoshinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lyubomir Machkov fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Yavor's protests and gave Lyubomir Machkov a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes CSKA Yavor got a freekick which was hit by Lyubomir Machkov. If Lilko Karadimitrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as KOLOMBARY's Velin Radenkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Temelko Mitrev. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Temelko Mitrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velin Radenkov in the 32nd minute of play. If Rostislav Dragoshinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nano Gluharov came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the CSKA Yavor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nano Gluharov couldn't finish the play. CSKA Yavor's Rostislav Dragoshinov got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rostislav Dragoshinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Peycho Súrnev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOLOMBARY's goalkeeper Peycho Súrnev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rostislav Dragoshinov managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Yavor's supporters rose to their feet, but Rostislav Dragoshinov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peycho Súrnev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Rostislav Dragoshinov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peycho Súrnev. Rostislav Dragoshinov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 60th minute Yulian Tzachev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogomil Dilinski during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KOLOMBARY booed when CSKA Yavor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogomil Dilinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bobi Bikovski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Rostislav Dragoshinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Rostislav Dragoshinov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 74 minutes, Lyubomir Machkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Yavor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lyubomir Machkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Yulian Popinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Temelko Mitrev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rostislav Dragoshinov in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peycho Súrnev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rostislav Dragoshinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peycho Súrnev having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CSKA Yavor's Lyubomir Machkov got a free kick in the 96th minute. The CSKA Yavor players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KOLOMBARY from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
