Evrosi Rumeev, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Elin Chetkushev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levent Bekyarov in the 13th minute. BMW team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Sukhostrel the free kick. Elin Chetkushev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Levent Bekyarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levent Bekyarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Mito Cholakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elin Chetkushev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, CSKA Sukhostrel's goalkeeper Elin Chetkushev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Levent Bekyarov. Levent Bekyarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, BMW team's Elin Chetkushev threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mito Cholakov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sasho Zidarov during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CSKA Sukhostrel getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sasho Zidarov hit a great ball.

53 minutes into the match, CSKA Sukhostrel's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Bekyarov came free, but Elin Chetkushev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mito Cholakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grozdan Kúdrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avgust Androv, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Levent Bekyarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avgust Androv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grozdan Kúdrev having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
