A collision led to FK Austria Wien getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ognyan Goleminov hit a great ball. Lozan Mutev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Svetoslav Manikatov. FK Austria Wien's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Galatasaray's Slavyan Rusanov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in FK Austria Wien's zone, Lozan Mutev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svetoslav Manikatov came out of the goal and Lozan Mutev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denimir Kolov kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's Lozan Mutev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svetoslav Manikatov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lozan Mutev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Svetoslav Manikatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Galatasaray could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FK Austria Wien throughout the match.
