The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Velichko Vlaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanoy Ichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A nice corner shot did that Radoslav Vlasarev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Velichko Vlaev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tzonko Kokov hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Nasko Lyondev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Liljak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Flightless Crows the free kick. After a rather tough play, CSKA Liljak's Nasko Lyondev got a free kick in the 9th minute. Radoslav Vlasarev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The The Flightless Crows fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when The Flightless Crows's Radoslav Vlasarev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yani Karaleev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radostin Peshunov's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, The Flightless Crows's goal looked a bit too open when Radostin Peshunov came free, but Yani Karaleev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Radoslav Vlasarev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Velichko Vlaev. CSKA Liljak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radoslav Vlasarev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to The Flightless Crows getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mihail Savakov hit a great ball. Nasko Lyondev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of The Flightless Crows:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CSKA Liljak:s goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, CSKA Liljak's Bratan Guberov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yani Karaleev. Velichko Vlaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslav Vlasarev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Radoslav Vlasarev managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Flightless Crows's supporters rose to their feet, but Radoslav Vlasarev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velichko Vlaev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Radoslav Vlasarev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Velichko Vlaev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radoslav Vlasarev to strike the kick off in the second half. Velichko Vlaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslav Vlasarev in the 57th minute of play. Stanoy Ichev in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Velichko Vlaev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Velichko Vlaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslav Vlasarev in the 66th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as The Flightless Crows's Radoslav Vlasarev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Velichko Vlaev. That made the score 1-4 after 71 minutes of play. Doychin Karakushev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velichko Vlaev having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Stanoy Ichev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Velichko Vlaev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Velichko Vlaev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radoslav Vlasarev's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 90th match minute, CSKA Liljak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzman Tropchev to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanoy Ichev got free with Velichko Vlaev in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radoslav Vlasarev in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Velichko Vlaev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radoslav Vlasarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Velichko Vlaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over The Flightless Crows could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CSKA Liljak throughout the match.
