Spectators: 7657 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karamfil Chandrev started the match with the kick off. Bart Hallorans short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Adam Alexandriyski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 8 played minutes Metudova got a freekick which was hit by Neycho Stoyanov. In the 11th minute Karamfil Chandrev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diyan Zaimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Alexandriyski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şaban Özhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Şaban Özhan came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the CSKA SOFIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şaban Özhan couldn't finish the play. Sergey Gorolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Alexandriyski having to interfere. Şaban Özhan had several of the Metudova's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adam Alexandriyski as he didn't even see the shot coming. 21 minutes into the match, Metudova's goalkeeper Adam Alexandriyski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Halloran. In the 23rd minute, Stanoy Protogerov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bart Halloran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Adam Alexandriyski made a huge save. In the 27th minute Şaban Özhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Alexandriyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Alexandriyski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart Halloran in the 33rd minute. Adam Alexandriyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şaban Özhan in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şaban Özhan in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Alexandriyski saved Metudova from getting behind. After having played for 40 minutes, Sergey Gorolov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA SOFIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergey Gorolov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Alexandriyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Lishev in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Metudova's Adam Alexandriyski got control of the ball when Bart Halloran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şaban Özhan took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Alexandriyski. Adam Alexandriyski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şaban Özhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Halloran in the 57th minute of play forced Metudova's goalkeeper Adam Alexandriyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bart Halloran came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the CSKA SOFIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Halloran couldn't finish the play. Metudova's Adam Alexandriyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Lishev in the 61st minute of play. Dobrin Oklev kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Şaban Özhan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Alexandriyski. Adam Alexandriyski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 76th minute, Bart Halloran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSKA SOFIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The CSKA SOFIA fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when CSKA SOFIA's Şaban Özhan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CSKA SOFIA's Şaban Özhan got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game Şaban Özhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metudova's Adam Alexandriyski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CSKA SOFIA were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Metudova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Toncho Dosholov took the corner. Adam Alexandriyski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şaban Özhan's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Adam Alexandriyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şaban Özhan in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şaban Özhan in the 95th minute of play forced Metudova's goalkeeper Adam Alexandriyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanoy Protogerov hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that CSKA SOFIA were the better team. CSKA SOFIA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
