Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vute Gevezov took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Manol Púdarev came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Kozichino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manol Púdarev couldn't finish the play. Anatoli Kúrkelanov in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prokopi Mednev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Newton Heath's Doncho Mentov got a free kick in the 18th minute. Newton Heath's Prokopi Mednev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Newton Heath from getting a goal against them. Chudomir Gutzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopi Mednev having to interfere. Velko Múrhov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavey Andreychin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Newton Heath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bone Michinov to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Newton Heath's goalkeeper Prokopi Mednev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anatoli Kúrkelanov. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Chudomir Gutzov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Chudomir Gutzov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newton Heath's Prokopi Mednev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anatoli Kúrkelanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopi Mednev having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Newton Heath's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoli Kúrkelanov came free, but Prokopi Mednev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Kozichino's Velko Múrhov got control of the ball when Slavey Andreychin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Anatoli Kúrkelanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chudomir Gutzov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Prokopi Mednev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Slavey Andreychin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Velko Múrhov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slavey Andreychin in the 73rd minute. Anatoli Kúrkelanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prokopi Mednev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoli Kúrkelanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anatoli Kúrkelanov scored 1-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prokopi Mednev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Kozichino's Stiliyan Chomakov got a free kick in the 80th minute. Chudomir Gutzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopi Mednev having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Doncho Mentov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chudomir Gutzov in the 85th minute of play forced Newton Heath's goalkeeper Prokopi Mednev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prokopi Mednev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chudomir Gutzov in the 86th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Chudomir Gutzov in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Kozichino's Chudomir Gutzov in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newton Heath's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anatoli Kúrkelanov in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prokopi Mednev saved Newton Heath from getting behind. If Anatoli Kúrkelanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
