Tarator's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetoslav Santurdzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match Raycho Gúrbov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Velko Múrhov skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Slavyan Lesnovski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Velko Múrhov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th minute, Chudomir Gutzov made a precise shot to the right of Veliko Santurdzhiev. Tarator's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chudomir Gutzov made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatoli Kúrkelanov got free with Veliko Santurdzhiev in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Velko Múrhov came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarator's Svetoslav Santurdzhiev. But to his dismay, Svetoslav Santurdzhiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Slavyan Lesnovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Evrosi Dipchev fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozichino's protests and gave Evrosi Dipchev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Evrosi Dipchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svetoslav Santurdzhiev scored 2-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Velko Múrhov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
