Prokopi Mednev came out of the goal and Andrew Vinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrew Vinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prokopi Mednev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anko Krushovski in the 26th minute of the match. Blagovest Dzhelenski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doncho Mentov in the 28th minute of the match. Anko Krushovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vute Gevezov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Vinson in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prokopi Mednev saved Newton Heath from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Newton Heath's goalkeeper Prokopi Mednev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrew Vinson. Blagovest Dzhelenski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vute Gevezov went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Newton Heath's zone, Velichko Myankov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prokopi Mednev came out of the goal and Velichko Myankov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalbert Topolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Prokopi Mednev made a huge save. If Velichko Myankov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newton Heath! The goalkeeper, Prokopi Mednev, was totally fooled by RED HEARTS's Denimir Belalov, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Anko Krushovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Andrew Vinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prokopi Mednev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prokopi Mednev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Vinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Vute Gevezov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Anko Krushovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prokopi Mednev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Newton Heath fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RED HEARTS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
