One of ФК Светкавица:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RED HEARTS:s goal. After a rather tough play, ФК Светкавица's Zhecho Deliyski got a free kick in the 8th minute. Adalbert Topolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kubrat Zehirev made a huge save. Kubrat Zehirev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neno Púrpov, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew Vinson got free with Kubrat Zehirev in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Anko Krushovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED HEARTS's supporters rose to their feet, but Anko Krushovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Doychin Tzalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Anko Krushovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubrat Zehirev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blagovest Dzhelenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomislav Yonevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Velichko Myankov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 61 played minutes RED HEARTS got a freekick which was hit by Gyuro Ilyovski. Zhecho Deliyski ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Blagovest Dzhelenski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kubrat Zehirev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalbert Topolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Kubrat Zehirev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anko Krushovski in the 78th minute of the match. RED HEARTS's Neno Púrpov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zhelyo Zagorchin, made in the 80th minute of the game. If Neno Púrpov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes ФК Светкавица got a freekick which was hit by Viden Platnarov. With a little luck, RED HEARTS's Blagovest Dzhelenski got control of the ball when Zhecho Deliyski tried to sneak it across the goal line. ФК Светкавица succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though RED HEARTS had controlled the match.
