Osvald Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavyan Lesnovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tarator's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tzanyo Zhekovski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Zerg's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Tarator booed when FC Zerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nenko Mastikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Nenko Mastikov fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Teodor Vrazhilov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veliko Santurdzhiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Krasen Medarski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Veliko Santurdzhiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 played minutes FC Zerg got a freekick which was hit by Anzhelo Chorbov. Osvald Snell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svetoslav Santurdzhiev in the 27th minute. Svetoslav Santurdzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvald Snell having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krasen Medarski to strike the kick off in the second half. Svetoslav Santurdzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Slavyan Lesnovski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvald Snell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 58 minutes, Krasen Medarski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zerg and the Tarator players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes FC Zerg got a freekick which was hit by Krasen Medarski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodor Vrazhilov got free with Veliko Santurdzhiev in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krasen Medarski in the 61st minute of play forced Tarator's goalkeeper Veliko Santurdzhiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Tarator was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lozan Sechenski to maneuver through the defense. Krasen Medarski got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th minute Svetoslav Santurdzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Vrazhilov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Veliko Santurdzhiev made a huge save. Osvald Snell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a little luck, Tarator's Veliko Santurdzhiev got control of the ball when Teodor Vrazhilov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Veliko Santurdzhiev came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zerg's Teodor Vrazhilov. But to his dismay, Teodor Vrazhilov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Tarator's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
