An unexpectedly hard shot by Darin Mingolov in the 3rd minute of play forced Akademi 21's goalkeeper Bozhidar Fasulkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Bistrogled's zone, Penko Staevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blagovest Vlasarev came out of the goal and Penko Staevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoni Vandov charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Vandov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Yoto Nelchinov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darin Mingolov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bozhidar Fasulkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Metodi Staevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CSKA Bistrogled booed when Akademi 21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Petleshkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Darin Mingolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Akademi 21 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marin Petleshkov hit a great ball. CSKA Bistrogled's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lyudmil Tenev in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Lyudmil Tenev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Akademi 21's Bozhidar Fasulkov did a great save. Antoni Vandov hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Yoto Nelchinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bozhidar Fasulkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Penko Staevski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Penko Staevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blagovest Vlasarev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Lyudmil Tenev scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Bozhidar Fasulkov who was too lazy, 1-2. Lyudmil Tenev, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Darin Mingolov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bozhidar Fasulkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bozhidar Fasulkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoto Nelchinov in the 62nd minute. If Penko Staevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genadi Matanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Akademi 21's Marin Petleshkov got a free kick in the 70th minute. Penko Staevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Blagovest Vlasarev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Vandov in the 85th minute of play forced CSKA Bistrogled's goalkeeper Blagovest Vlasarev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yoto Nelchinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Yoto Nelchinov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Bistrogled's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoto Nelchinov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Darin Mingolov managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Bistrogled's supporters rose to their feet, but Darin Mingolov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bozhidar Fasulkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CSKA Bistrogled had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
