Boncho Pedev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prokopi Mednev having to make a save. After 14 minutes, Temelko Antonov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peshakovo and the Newton Heath players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Temelko Antonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peshakovo's Túlio Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vute Gevezov in the 17th minute of play. Prokopi Mednev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boncho Pedev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haralampi Ilov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damyan Mlechevski in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prokopi Mednev saved Newton Heath from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Traycho Kibarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Boncho Pedev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prokopi Mednev. Newton Heath's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boncho Pedev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Boncho Pedev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopi Mednev having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boncho Pedev in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prokopi Mednev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Peshakovo's Roman Rekawiczka in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newton Heath's goalie prevented a goal. If Haralampi Ilov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prokopi Mednev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Rekawiczka's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Boncho Pedev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Prokopi Mednev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vute Gevezov was the one to do the kick off. Newton Heath's Prokopi Mednev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boncho Pedev in the 54th minute of play. Boncho Pedev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopi Mednev having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Newton Heath's goalkeeper Prokopi Mednev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Rekawiczka. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Damyan Mlechevski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peshakovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Damyan Mlechevski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prokopi Mednev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Boncho Pedev sped through Newton Heath's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prokopi Mednev. In the 69th minute of the match, Roman Rekawiczka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prokopi Mednev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Boncho Pedev put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Prokopi Mednev. After a rather tough play, Peshakovo's Boncho Pedev got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Newton Heath's zone, Boncho Pedev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prokopi Mednev came out of the goal and Boncho Pedev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Newton Heath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traycho Kibarov to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damyan Mlechevski got free with Prokopi Mednev in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prokopi Mednev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzman Danchev in the 85th minute of play. Haralampi Ilov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prokopi Mednev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Damyan Mlechevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boncho Pedev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Prokopi Mednev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Prokopi Mednev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damyan Mlechevski in the 90th minute of play. When Peshakovo's Boncho Pedev in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newton Heath's goalie prevented a goal. Peshakovo played a much better game than Newton Heath and deserved their victory. The Newton Heath players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
