In the 37th minute, Romelu Lukaku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yonko Mihaylovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Elena booed when Black Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romelu Lukaku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yonko Mihaylovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaklin Tasev in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Vaklin Tasev made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Black Sea's Konrad Barniszke got a free kick in the 51st minute.
