In the 56th minute, Bozhin Tzalev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chudomir Karameshev made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ignat Barbov sent off a good shot on target. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, CSKA SF's Avgust Yarúkov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Chudomir Karameshev. When Krasen Banovski fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA SF's protests and gave Krasen Banovski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Янтра Габрово booed when CSKA SF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krasen Banovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bozhin Tzalev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladko Predyov's late challenge caught a CSKA SF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladko Predyov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Янтра Габрово getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Vladko Predyov hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bozhin Tzalev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chudomir Karameshev was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
