Kuncho Kraynov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elena. Zheko Boborachki hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Milyo Hadzhitonev kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Bogdan Valentinov in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kuncho Kraynov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Zvunche's zone, Bozhin Ukov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuncho Kraynov came out of the goal and Bozhin Ukov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elena's Yonko Mihaylovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihren Goranchev in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Stamen Vichev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kuncho Kraynov. Stamen Vichev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bogdan Valentinovs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Kuncho Kraynov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Boyan Bakúrdzhiev fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA Zvunche's protests and gave Boyan Bakúrdzhiev a yellow card for diving instead. Boyan Bakúrdzhiev kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Kuncho Kraynov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Valentinov's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 44 minutes into the match, CSKA Zvunche's goalkeeper Kuncho Kraynov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Valentinov. After a rather tough play, CSKA Zvunche's Dilyan Neev got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vihren Goranchev made a kick off. Vihren Goranchev charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vihren Goranchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, CSKA Zvunche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vihren Goranchev to maneuver through the defense. Lyuboslav Burov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Yonko Mihaylovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Elena's Bogdan Valentinov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuncho Kraynov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogdan Valentinov struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Milyo Hadzhitonev might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuncho Kraynov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milyo Hadzhitonev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute Vihren Goranchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yonko Mihaylovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vihren Goranchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSKA Zvunche's Kuncho Kraynov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Vichev in the 78th minute of play. CSKA Zvunche's Lyuboslav Burov got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elena's Yonko Mihaylovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihren Goranchev in the 88th minute of play. Elena's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Vihren Goranchev scored to the left of an out of position Yonko Mihaylovski, making the score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Valentinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuncho Kraynov was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Elena were the better team. Elena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
