Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Genko Zhechkov got the match started through his kick off. FC Arsenal's Dinko Pisanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihren Goranchev in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, FC Arsenal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lyuboslav Burov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lyuboslav Burov got free with Dinko Pisanov in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Arsenal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vaklin Yavrichev was slow to take the kick. During this time CSKA Zvunche's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Vaklin Yavrichev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Arsenal's Dinko Pisanov did a great save. Milyo Stoimchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Zvunche's zone, Genko Zhechkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuncho Kraynov came out of the goal and Genko Zhechkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slavi Zashev during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, CSKA Zvunche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slavi Zashev to maneuver through the defense. Kuncho Kraynov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Zhechkov in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, CSKA Zvunche's goal looked a bit too open when Genko Zhechkov came free, but Kuncho Kraynov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rusi Vatev charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rusi Vatev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Rusi Vatev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vihren Goranchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Roman Gevrenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuncho Kraynov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genko Zhechkov struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Kuncho Kraynov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Arsenal. Genko Zhechkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rusi Vatev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. In the 46thth minute of the game Vihren Goranchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Arsenal's Dinko Pisanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute Vihren Goranchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinko Pisanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vihren Goranchev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lyuboslav Burov took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinko Pisanov. Dinko Pisanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 60 minutes, Lyuboslav Burov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Zvunche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lyuboslav Burov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Arsenal's Dinko Pisanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyuboslav Burov in the 62nd minute of play. Dinko Pisanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vihren Goranchev's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. A hard shot by Vencho Nikov from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Kuncho Kraynov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, CSKA Zvunche's Kuncho Kraynov got control of the ball when Milyo Stoimchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Vihren Goranchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinko Pisanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyuboslav Burov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kliment Tanov hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Lyuboslav Burov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinko Pisanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vihren Goranchev might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinko Pisanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vihren Goranchev ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Arsenal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
