When Totyo Vuchev fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Черно Море's protests and gave Totyo Vuchev a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the match, FC Atletik Sofia's Vlado Fakirov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Dafin Yahlev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute of the match Vlado Fakirov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Tadzio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simeon Daskalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raycho Parichkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Silvano Tadzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simeon Daskalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venelin Tzonkov having to interfere. Raycho Parichkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stoyadin Parlapanov during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Черно Море booed when FC Atletik Sofia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stoyadin Parlapanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Черно Море's Fabio Dacio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Venelin Tzonkov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Черно Море reached it. After 62 played minutes FC Atletik Sofia got a freekick which was hit by Raycho Parichkov. Antim Velkushanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Venelin Tzonkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raycho Parichkov in the 66th minute of the match. Dafin Yahlev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Atletik Sofia's Zlatko Sinigerski in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Черно Море's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
