Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alek Popkirov got the match started through his kick off. Presiyan Chachev hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Papazli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Valkan Karagogov put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Milcho Kerelov. Milcho Kerelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyubcho Kisev in the 14th minute of play. After 16th play minutes Valkan Karagogov shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Milcho Kerelov and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 19th minute Valkan Karagogov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milcho Kerelov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milcho Kerelov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanko Deliyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krasimir Drashanski got free with Prodan Damyanski in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valkan Karagogov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milcho Kerelov having to interfere. Bogomil Keremidarski kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Papazli's Prodan Damyanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alek Popkirov in the 36th minute of play. Ivelin Geshkov kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

With his leg Milcho Kerelov managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Papazli's Valkan Karagogov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alek Popkirov in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prodan Damyanski saved Papazli from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Stancho Bibov put in a rough tackle. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for CSKA Aptat. Vaklin Manchov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Prodan Damyanski. 2-3. Papazli's Branimir Handzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valkan Karagogov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milcho Kerelov having to make a save. Milcho Kerelov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branimir Handzhiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Presiyan Chachev came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Papazli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Presiyan Chachev couldn't finish the play. Valkan Karagogov struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Milcho Kerelov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papazli. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Aptat's zone, Valkan Karagogov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milcho Kerelov came out of the goal and Valkan Karagogov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Presiyan Chachev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Papazli could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CSKA Aptat throughout the match.
