An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Kitov in the 33rd minute of play forced Papazli's goalkeeper Prodan Damyanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valkan Karagogov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Levent Dinolov having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Valkan Karagogov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valkan Karagogov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lyubcho Kisev made a kick off. Levent Dinolov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valkan Karagogov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Valkan Karagogov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Papazli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavri Shiparov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CSKA Rosen's Viktor Kitov got a free kick in the 65th minute. Anastas Tzilev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Levent Dinolov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rumen Chulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Stavri Shiparov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 71st match minute, Papazli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavri Shiparov to maneuver through the defense. Prodan Damyanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rumen Chulin in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Rumen Chulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodan Damyanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastas Tzilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levent Dinolov having to interfere.
