Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zuzumani's Hristofor Nokov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lilko Gúrbuzanov in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nasko Tomalevski saved Zuzumani from getting behind. Karamfil Kitov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosi Slúnchev having to interfere. Lilko Gúrbuzanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hristofor Nokov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arhangel Bagarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasko Tomalevski having to interfere. After 18 minutes Svyetlen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bozhko Barutchiev who took care of the corner kick. Nedko Komsiyski made a great header on Zuzumani's corner, it was just that Svyetlen's Teodosi Slúnchev managed to reach the ball for a save. Severin Kashukeev hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Svyetlen booed when Zuzumani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Chernogorov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Plamen Yazov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nasko Tomalevski skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Hristofor Nokov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodosi Slúnchev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karamfil Kitov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosi Slúnchev having to make a save. In the 34th minute Lilko Gúrbuzanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasko Tomalevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Arhangel Bagarov made a precise shot to the right of Nasko Tomalevski. Zuzumani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Teodosi Slúnchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristofor Nokov in the 47th minute of play. The Zuzumani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Svyetlen were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lilko Gúrbuzanov to make the kick off. Zuzumani's Karamfil Kitov got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosi Duchevski kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Severin Kashukeev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuzumani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svyetlen the free kick. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Arhangel Bagarov sped through Zuzumani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nasko Tomalevski. 60 minutes into the game, Toni Chernogorov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuzumani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svyetlen the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Zuzumani's zone, Arhangel Bagarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasko Tomalevski came out of the goal and Arhangel Bagarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodosi Slúnchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karamfil Kitov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hristofor Nokov scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosi Slúnchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karamfil Kitov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Teodosi Slúnchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Zuzumani manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Svyetlen to win.
