An unexpectedly hard shot by Elin Marinski in the 17th minute of play forced SEPTEMBER WARRIORS's goalkeeper Ivo Kutev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lom's attentive Severin Minov managed to snatch the ball when Milcho Humbadzhiev made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Ivo Kutev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severin Minov, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Elin Marinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elin Marinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Hristofor Ambov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dochko Smolenov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lom's Dochko Smolenov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristofor Ambov in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Topchiev to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SEPTEMBER WARRIORS's zone, Elin Marinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Kutev came out of the goal and Elin Marinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the game, Vasko Stefanov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lom's Severin Minov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ivo Kutev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elin Marinski in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to SEPTEMBER WARRIORS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Igor Topchiev hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lom's Elin Marinski got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Vasko Stefanov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lom's Severin Minov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 71st minute, Severin Minov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dochko Smolenov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tihomir Koshtrov in the 72nd minute of the match. Elin Marinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SEPTEMBER WARRIORS's Ivo Kutev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elin Marinski in the 85th minute of play. If Elin Marinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elin Marinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristofor Ambov in the 96th minute of play forced Lom's goalkeeper Dochko Smolenov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lom supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lom would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
