Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Prodan Zagorchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koniawo's Stamen Shikalanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Babiza booed when Koniawo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gyuro Papalezov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamen Shikalanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prodan Zagorchev's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Ivo Gilishtarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Radev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babiza's Evlogi Pastirov got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game Prodan Zagorchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koniawo's Stamen Shikalanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Koniawo's zone, Evlogi Pastirov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamen Shikalanov came out of the goal and Evlogi Pastirov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prodan Zagorchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamen Shikalanov having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prodan Zagorchev in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamen Shikalanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Ivo Gilishtarov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filip Radev. Ivo Gilishtarov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Babiza booed when Koniawo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Gilishtarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Prodan Zagorchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kosta Hinkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Gilishtarov in the 53rd minute of play forced Babiza's goalkeeper Filip Radev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gyuro Papalezov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koniawo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gyuro Papalezov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Radev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stamen Shikalanov stood somewhat misplaced when Prodan Zagorchev came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Babiza's Prodan Zagorchev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Prodan Zagorchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Rafailov hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Lilcho Svilenski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Babiza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koniawo the free kick. After 74 played minutes Babiza got a freekick which was hit by Lilcho Svilenski. A collision led to Koniawo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gyuro Papalezov hit a great ball.
