The supporters of Kapudzhik booed when Pipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kliment Gurmev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gencho Zachev came free in the 36th minute and tried to tip the ball over Teofan Balchev, but to the joy of Kapudzhik's supporters the ball went over. A collision led to Pipo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tzolo Babadzhanov hit a great ball. If Delcho Múlchanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Delcho Múlchanov made the kick off in the second half. Iliya Kartunov struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Marc Kjellqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapudzhik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delcho Múlchanov in the 55th minute of play forced Kapudzhik's goalkeeper Teofan Balchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofan Balchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delcho Múlchanov's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Delcho Múlchanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofan Balchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Kjellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iliya Kartunov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Although Pipo had been in control for most of the match, Kapudzhik still came away with the win.
