If Nedko Púrlev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danail Kolchagov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 60 minutes into the game, Oleg Patronev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Velcho Rasheev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Doychin Abadzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute.
