After a rather tough play, FC Discovery team's Daniel Nemtzov got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Bogomil Toshev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evstati Karamanchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzeno Makriev in the 26th minute of play. Evstati Karamanchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tzeno Makriev went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Tzeno Makriev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Evstati Karamanchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nenko Sungarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Kurkudzha's goal looked a bit too open when Nenko Sungarski came free, but Yonko Gugov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yonko Gugov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogomil Toshev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogomil Toshev to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogomil Toshev in the 52nd minute of play forced Kurkudzha's goalkeeper Yonko Gugov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yonko Gugov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nenko Sungarski in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Discovery team's zone, Tzeno Makriev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evstati Karamanchev came out of the goal and Tzeno Makriev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genko Kertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yonko Gugov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yonko Gugov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nenko Sungarski in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Daniel Nemtzov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nenko Sungarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yonko Gugov having to interfere. Bozhidar Ivchev hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Yonko Gugov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogomil Toshev in the 70th minute of play. Chavdar Belezhkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Evstati Karamanchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bogomil Toshev came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Discovery team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogomil Toshev couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Discovery team's zone, Chavdar Belezhkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evstati Karamanchev came out of the goal and Chavdar Belezhkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Bogomil Toshev put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Yonko Gugov. After some careless play in the FC Discovery team defense, Chavdar Belezhkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evstati Karamanchev. The FC Discovery team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evstati Karamanchev should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Kurkudzha getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Milko Machkanov hit a great ball. Svetozar Tzikalov, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nenko Sungarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kurkudzha's Bozhidar Ivchev got a free kick in the 96th minute. Kurkudzha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
