Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Stanko Karakolev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Matey Belorechki took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andon Bogomilov. Andon Bogomilov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 18th minute, Salgado bulgaro's Presiyan Nikitov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanko Karakolev. Stanko Karakolev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 22 minutes into the match, Salgado bulgaro's goal looked a bit too open when Matey Belorechki came free, but Andon Bogomilov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andon Bogomilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Protogerov in the 26th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Boris Protogerov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the Salgado bulgaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matey Belorechki was the one to do the kick off. Stanko Karakolev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Presiyan Nikitov in the 53rd minute of play. Asparuh Yaninski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salgado bulgaro's zone, Matey Belorechki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andon Bogomilov came out of the goal and Matey Belorechki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Miho Dilchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragomir Rabakov struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Stanko Karakolev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgado bulgaro. Matey Belorechki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 74th playminute. In the 93rd minute Dragomir Rabakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanko Karakolev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanko Karakolev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragomir Vetov, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Salgado bulgaro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
