Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haralampi Bogdantzaliev started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Fotyo Chavorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Kuzman Kúrkelanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tzvetan Bozhilski. FC Sportist Aksakovo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuzman Kúrkelanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gospodin Berov during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Gospodin Berov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Encho Yonchevski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tzvetan Bozhilski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Tzvetan Bozhilski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haralampi Bogdantzaliev in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Encho Yonchevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Ruse and the FC Sportist Aksakovo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Lokomotiv Ruse got a freekick which was hit by Encho Yonchevski. FC Sportist Aksakovo's Stoyko Gyulev got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gospodin Berov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Baharov having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, FC Sportist Aksakovo's goal looked a bit too open when Haralampi Bogdantzaliev came free, but Tzvetan Bozhilski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Encho Yonchevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Popdimitrov hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. FC Sportist Aksakovo's Gospodin Berov got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haralampi Bogdantzaliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Sportist Aksakovo's goalkeeper Tzvetan Bozhilski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tzvetan Bozhilski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haralampi Bogdantzaliev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gospodin Berov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Martin Baharov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Baharov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoyko Gyulev in the 53rd minute of the match. Tzvetan Bozhilski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haralampi Bogdantzaliev in the 54th minute of play. FC Sportist Aksakovo's Tzvetan Bozhilski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haralampi Bogdantzaliev in the 57th minute of play. A hard shot 58 in the game by Encho Yonchevski from a close distance when the talented Tzvetan Bozhilski managed to make a qualified save. FC Sportist Aksakovo's players were relieved. After 59 played minutes FC Sportist Aksakovo got a freekick which was hit by Fotyo Chavorski. Stoyko Gyulev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tzvetan Bozhilski made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Encho Yonchevski sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Filip Popdimitrov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tzvetan Bozhilski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haralampi Bogdantzaliev in the 71st minute of the match. Encho Yonchevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tzvetan Bozhilski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, FC Sportist Aksakovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Popdimitrov to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match Nikifor Velevski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tzvetan Bozhilski skillfully saved the ball. Encho Yonchevski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 77th playminute. If Encho Yonchevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tzvetan Bozhilski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haralampi Bogdantzaliev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lokomotiv Ruse supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lokomotiv Ruse would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
