The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of FC Barcelona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Локомотив Пловдив:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Локомотив Пловдив. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalbert Danadzhiev to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Adalbert Danadzhiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Stanko Karakolev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matey Belorechki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
