Orlin Gudzhev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyuboslav Keremedchiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanko Karakolev having to interfere. Orlin Gudzhev succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 28th playminute. In the 31st minute Lyubomir Sivkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Penko Karapandzhiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. emil team's Penko Karapandzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyubomir Sivkov in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Orlin Gudzhev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanko Karakolev came out of the goal and Orlin Gudzhev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the emil team defense, Matey Belorechki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Penko Karapandzhiev. The emil team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Penko Karapandzhiev should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlin Gudzhev made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asparuh Yaninski in the 55th minute of play forced emil team's goalkeeper Penko Karapandzhiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when emil team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toncho Tuevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Zlatin Dobrenov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave emil team the free kick. In the 59th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatin Dobrenov to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, emil team's Borimir Naskov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stanko Karakolev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in emil team reached it. After 63 played minutes Asparuh Yaninski rounded emil team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. In the 66th minute, Lyuboslav Keremedchiev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanko Karakolev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Matey Belorechki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Penko Karapandzhiev firmly grabbed it by the left post. Penko Karapandzhiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyubomir Sivkov in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Lyuboslav Keremedchiev came free, but Stanko Karakolev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to emil team getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Yuri Chernokozhev hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's Miho Dilchev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Penko Karapandzhiev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Biser Vazov hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Matey Belorechki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Penko Karapandzhiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyubomir Sivkov charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lyubomir Sivkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Lyubomir Sivkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
