The Magardzhitsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Karidov should have stopped the shot. Dimo Shoshorov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traycho Kilyovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoncho Babadzhanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Shoshorov having to interfere. FC Irinets's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Traycho Kilyovski 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Sava Musakov's late challenge caught a FC Irinets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 69th minute of the match Velizar Bosolov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimo Shoshorov skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Yoncho Babadzhanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magardzhitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoncho Babadzhanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
