Spectators: 7836 (Terracing: 5883, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marin Petkov kicked off to start the match. Kaloyan Stefchov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delcho Momin's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Marin Petkov struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Lachezar Deninski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ПФК Левски 1914. The supporters of ПФК Левски 1914 booed when THE RED STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Metev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Delcho Momin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kaloyan Stefchov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ganyo Dushanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lachezar Deninski made a huge save. In the 13th match minute, ПФК Левски 1914 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Niezywy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Metev in the 17th minute of play forced ПФК Левски 1914's goalkeeper Kaloyan Stefchov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delcho Momin took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaloyan Stefchov. Kaloyan Stefchov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 31 minutes, Levent Zaimov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE RED STARS and the ПФК Левски 1914 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for THE RED STARS! When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, ПФК Левски 1914's Subin Randev got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lachezar Deninski. In the 37th minute Marin Petkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lachezar Deninski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to THE RED STARS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sergey Kerezov hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Delcho Momin made a precise shot to the right of Kaloyan Stefchov. ПФК Левски 1914's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 45 minutes, Sergey Kerezov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE RED STARS and the ПФК Левски 1914 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delcho Momin made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, ПФК Левски 1914's Neycho Perduhov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lachezar Deninski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 57thth minute of the game Ganyo Dushanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE RED STARS's Lachezar Deninski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in THE RED STARS's zone, Marin Petkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lachezar Deninski came out of the goal and Marin Petkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marin Petkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Marin Petkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lachezar Deninski. THE RED STARS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Petkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Marin Petkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lachezar Deninski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neycho Perduhov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lachezar Deninski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Petkov in the 81st minute of the match. THE RED STARS's Lachezar Deninski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Petkov in the 89th minute of play. Marin Petkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lachezar Deninski having to interfere. Chants of THE RED STARS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ПФК Левски 1914 had held the ball for most of the match.
